Biography
Dr. Ignazio Lazzizzera was a Professor of Particle Physics in 1978-1983. He joined the international collaboration CMS ( Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment at LHC ( CERN ) in 2006, involved in various analyzes. From 2014 Team Leader of the AMS02-Trent group at CERN. Presently his research includes S tangle of a new first level trigger on the drift chambers components of the system for muons, satisfactory to NECESSITY unprecedented requests to CMS in the regime of high luminosity in the future pervista so-called Phase 2 SuperLHC . The muon system is a powerful tool to recognize the signature of interesting processes sull'elevatissimo primer. In phase 2 of SuperLHC it is designed a luminosity of 10 ^ 35 cm ^ -2 s ^ -2, who'll want to say an average overlap of about 250 events "minimum bias" for each meeting of protons packages, which follow one another at intervals of 25 nano-seconds. The innovative idea for the trigger is for replying back in the central plotter the trajectory of muons as seen in the drift chambers and When so use the same precision of the plotter in the determination of the "transverse pulses" of muons. In this work I have responsibility in particular for the simulation software.
